The Drupal community is coming together in India
Join us for DrupalAsia Connect India 2027, a three-day community gathering bringing people from across Asia and beyond together to learn, share, contribute, and connect.
Community story
We've heard the question for weeks, and we owe the community a straight answer. DrupalCon India is not happening in January 2027 – in its place, the same organising team is running DrupalAsia Connect on the same dates.
DrupalAsia Connect is where ideas, technology, and community come together. Whether you're building ambitious digital experiences, exploring the possibilities of AI, contributing to Drupal, or looking to connect with the people shaping the open web, this is where you can learn, share, and grow.
Connect with developers, designers, strategists, agencies, organisations, and open-source advocates from across Asia and beyond. Discover practical insights, exchange ideas, get hands-on with new technologies, and contribute to the future of Drupal.
Bring your ideas. Share what you know. Build what's next — together.
Whether you build with Drupal every day or decide where the budget goes, there is a reason to be in the room.
01
Real project stories from teams shipping Drupal at scale across the region.
02
Agencies, end users and freelancers in one place.
03
Mentored sprints where first-time contributors get their first issue credit.
04
Help shape what a shared Asian Drupal community looks like from here on.
The event
DrupalAsia Connect brings the regional camps of Asia into a single shared moment. Instead of a dozen conversations happening in parallel, the region gets one stage — for the agencies scaling Drupal delivery, the teams maintaining modules, the government and university platforms running on it, and the people who want to start.
Expect a programme built from the community: talks and panels, hands-on workshops, contribution sprints, a business track for agency and end-user leadership, and plenty of unstructured time for the conversations that only happen in person.
Venue & travel
DrupalAsia Connect 2027 will be hosted at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) in Powai, Mumbai.
Set within one of India’s premier educational institutions, the IIT Bombay campus combines a vibrant academic environment with extensive green spaces and a peaceful setting around Powai Lake.
It’s a distinctive venue for bringing the Drupal community together in Mumbai.
