8 Agents, 1 PM: Who's Actually Managing the Project?

What if eight AI agents could simplify project management and give PMs more time to lead? Through practical Drupal examples, I'll demonstrate how my AI-powered PM Agent Hub supports reporting, backlog management, risk tracking, and better decisions.

Summary

What if eight AI agents could take care of everyday project management activities, allowing Project Managers to focus on what matters most—people, decisions, and successful delivery?

With over 15 years of experience managing enterprise Drupal projects, I've seen how much time Project Managers spend preparing reports, documenting meetings, tracking risks, and managing backlogs.

In this session, I'll share my journey of building an AI-powered PM Agent Hub with eight specialized agents designed to simplify project management. Through practical examples, I'll explore how AI can reduce manual effort, improve project visibility, and support better decisions without replacing human judgment.

Problem Statement

Managing complex Drupal projects involves more than tracking tasks and deadlines. Project Managers often spend hours gathering information from Jira, meeting notes, and stakeholder discussions to prepare reports, identify risks, and follow up on action items.

I faced similar challenges while managing multiple workstreams, where repetitive administrative activities reduced the time available for proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.

Approach / Benefits

To address these challenges, I started building a PM Agent Hub with eight AI agents supporting weekly reporting, meeting minutes, backlog creation, RAID management, sprint health, retrospectives, estimation, and quality tracking.

I'll share practical Drupal project scenarios to demonstrate how these agents can help organize information, identify potential risks, and prepare actionable insights.

The objective is simple: Let AI handle repetitive tasks so Project Managers can focus on leadership, collaboration, and decision-making.
