Volunteer Opportunities at DrupalAsia Connect India 2027
We are now recruiting community members interested in contributing to Drupal by serving as event volunteers for DrupalAsia Connect India 2027 where the people who make amazing digital experiences possible come together to make them even better. Your support helps make this event a success.

All applicants will be contacted once a decision has been made on their application.
Help the Program team review sessions submitted for the event. Volunteers will read and score proposals, provide constructive feedback to speakers, and help shape the final conference programme across tracks and topics.
Help the Marketing & Outreach team spread the word about the event and engage Drupal communities across India, Asia and beyond. Volunteers may contribute to social media, community outreach, email communications, content creation, campaign coordination and promotion of key event milestones.
Support and maintain the DrupalAsia Connect India website in the lead-up to the event. This includes creating new pages, updating existing content, publishing event information, and keeping the website fresh and accurate as the program and event details evolve. Some post-event content updates may also be required.
Lead the registration experience from setup through the event. This includes setting up and managing KonfHub, configuring ticket types and pricing, managing ticket bundles and coupon codes, coordinating ticketing for sponsors and volunteers, and working with KonfHub and the finance team on ticket-sale reconciliation.
The role will also oversee attendee communications, registration data, ticket transfers and refunds, and registration for speakers, sponsors, volunteers, organizers, media and invited guests and planning the registration desk workflow
Help capture the people, energy and moments that make the event special. Photographers will work with the Marketing & Outreach team to capture key moments across the event, including sessions, workshops, contribution activities, networking, sponsors, community interactions and behind-the-scenes moments. A shot list and photography priorities will be provided, with shifts coordinated around the event schedule.
Lead the logistics team and coordinate the planning and delivery of on-ground operations for the event. This includes working with the venue, vendors and organising teams to coordinate event spaces, infrastructure, materials and operational requirements, and ensuring smooth setup, event-day operations and teardown.
Help make DrupalAsia Connect India run smoothly behind the scenes. Volunteers will support the Logistics Lead with venue coordination, vendors, event materials, setup and teardown, and other on-ground operational needs.
